The question is not just about the fact that individual people take care of themselves, but in choosing a way of life.

Why do some countries host the happiest and healthiest people on the planet?
What do they eat? What are their habits, which are different from other societies?

While the factors that lead to a healthy lifestyle are many, all these countries have something in common. Their priority is the lack of stress and the balance between work and other things in life. They also rarely eat meat, and proteins and vitamins are available from fish, soybean (tofu), fruits and vegetables.

1.Iceland

Due to the fact that the population is less, Iceland is one of the least polluted and therefore one of the cleanest countries in the world. But clean air is not the only reason the Icelanders are healthy. Because of the harsh climatic conditions throughout most of the year, the Icelanders are working hard on winter depression and poor moods.

The country also has one of the highest birth rates. There is the lowest rate of death in children, ie. 2nd deaths per 1000 babies.

2. Japan

The World Health Organization calculates the countries where people live the longest. Japan is leading 74.5 years of life. This is mostly due to the fact that they eat healthily.

Every dish in Japan is a work of art. The food is beautiful and so delicious, and at the same time so simple. They are the largest fishmonger in the world but do not forget about soy, algae and green tea. Their secret is that when they eat 80% - they stop for ten minutes and then choose whether to continue to eat or not. In most cases, they have eaten enough and do not need more.

3. Sweden

Government policy offers a healthy lifestyle that includes a balance between positive work and life. People there also like to go outdoors, contemplating the magnificent landscapes of the hills, mountains, and lakes.

In addition, due to their geographical location, the inhabitants of Sweden eat a lot of fish rich in Omega 3 fatty acids. Of course, the way they prepare it meets their healthy lifestyle.

4. Okinawa

Okinawa is a prefecture or, in other words, under the national jurisdiction of Japan.

But it is important to mention it separately because it is believed that the strongest people on the planet live there. According to surveys, the ratio of 100-year-olds is the highest in the world and is approximately 50 per 100,000 people. There are many "supercentenarians" in the country who have reached the age of 110 years.

This is not the only characteristic thing in the country. People live a relaxed, happy and healthy lifestyle as they eat a ton of local fruits and vegetables, and a great deal of tofu and algae.

They are little exposed to stress and at the same time very active.

5. New Zealand

Like Iceland, New Zealand has a little population and less polluted air. This country is a great place to live. Residents in the country adore outdoor activities such as climbing, camping, and fishing. In fact, this is the easiest way to enjoy life and live well.

No matter where you live, you are not more than 90 minutes from the ocean. There is also an abundance of healthy foods there. They eat algae, as well as local fruits and vegetables. Each of its inhabitants cultivates something and exchanges different foods with each other.

Just imagine eating freshly cut avocados, lettuce, kiwi, apples, plums!

It sounds good, doesn`t it?

6. Sardinia

Sardinia is an autonomous region in Italy and is home to a large number of centenarians. People are very cohesive and united, and even older people often live with their families.

Men are often shepherds walking 8 km. per day, and their main menu consists of wholegrain bread, peas, tomatoes, garlic, various fruits, olive oil, and homemade sheep cheese.

7. Finland

Just 30 years ago, Finland was one of the countries with the highest heart disease mortality. The population has worked hard to ensure a healthy lifestyle. Smoking has been reduced to a minimum, and the intake of fruits and vegetables has doubled.

Finland is a typical example of the fact that if one wants and makes an effort to change - he will succeed.
