Proteins are the main component of our body. They constitute about 12-15% of our weight, more than half are in the muscles. Proteins are made up of amino acids that are twenty in number. Eight of them are essential or indispensable. Essential amino acids can’t be synthesized by the body and need to be taken outside through food and supplements. Proteins that contain all the essential amino acids are called complete.

The recommended daily intake of protein is 0.8 grams per kilogram of body weight. Engaged in sports and intense physical activity, however, require at least 1.41 g / kg to maintain nitrogen balance in equilibrium.

There is also a rating of proteins or the so-called biological value. This rating is determined by the ratio of amino acids contained in them. It shows how much of them can be used for plastic needs - rehabilitation and construction of new tissues such as muscle. The remaining amino acids are used for other functions and processes. Also, more essential amino acids = higher biological value.

Whey protein is a very complete source of protein, which provides the body with all essential amino acids, and thereby enhances muscle repair. It is absorbed very quickly and easily, which is crucial for protein shake after a workout.

  • Absorbs quickly
  • High biological value
  • With high content of BCAA

Pea protein, like soya, has a high content of the amino acid methionine, which is good for practicing sport. Unlike other sources, pea protein is absorbed much more easily (over 90%) and its slow degradation provides a steady supply of amino acids.

  • Sow digestion
  • Prolongs the feeling of satiety
  • Balanced amino acid profile

Soy protein contains all essential amino acids, although it is 100% from plant source. Also, it contains no sugars or lactose. Soy protein is very suitable for athletes who do not consume animal products.

  • Contains all essential amino acids
  • Derived from organic soybeans
  • Contains no fat

Rice protein in contrast to other protein sources such as whey, soy, milk and egg protein, is hypoallergenic - does not contain either lactose or gluten. Therefore, it does not irritate the digestive system.

  • Hypoallergenic
  • Easy to digest
  • Gluten free
